Prince Philip – Lambourn Book of Condolences

Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth II’s husband, has died aged 99. In a statement shortly after midday, Buckingham Palace said: “His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.”

“The Royal Family join with people around the world in mourning his loss,” the statement added.

  1. Prince Philip touched so many lives not least through the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme which so many young people enjoyed. An extraordinary man who led an extraordinary life.

  2. Deeply saddening, sincere condolences to the Queen and the family. An amazing man, patriarch, backbone of the family who always stood strong and solid for the Queen and showed so much respect for her. The end of an era, he will be greatly missed even for the occasional controversial statements which you couldn’t help but smile at.
