Lambourn’s 2027 Village Calendar Now Available

Lambourn’s 2027 village calendar is now on sale, celebrating the beauty of the local countryside while raising money for the Lambourn Surgery Amenities Fund.

Produced for the third year running by Sara Bartlett, the calendar features photographs taken by Sara and her husband, Frank Penhaligan. The images capture the changing seasons in and around Lambourn, across the surrounding downlands and out to the Ridgeway.

Last year’s calendar raised £550 for the fund, and all money raised from this year’s sales will again support the local cause.

“We’ve already had a lot of people asking about them, so I’m delighted they’re now ready,” said Sara.

The calendar has become a popular purchase both for personal use and as a gift, with many copies sent abroad to former Lambourn residents.

Sara and Frank have chosen photographs full of colour that reflect the changing landscape throughout the year. A new page at the back also provides space to note dates for 2028.

The price remains £8.99. Copies are available from Lambourn Universal Stores, with payment by cash only, or directly from Sara, who accepts cash or card. To arrange a direct purchase, contact Sara through the Lambourn Community Facebook page.

Sara thanked everyone who has supported the calendar and shared comments and suggestions, which have helped shape this year’s edition.

“Everyone who buys a calendar will be helping a local cause which benefits everybody,” she said.
