Memorial Tree 2020

December 5th 2020 saw the annual decorating of the tree in Upper Lambourn Cemetery.
Stephanie Barrett, who started this beautiful annual event was joined by Jude and Mike (Mike braving the trip to the top of the ladder!) to decorate with numerous baubles which Stephanie had stored for folk from last year…and there were many of them.
Luckily the sun began to shine after a dull start to the day and the decorations glinted in the sunlight.
We were joined this year by Julie Mintern our Vicar, who, despite being very busy, made a special visit to see the tree.

Anyone can add their baubles in memory of a loved one, but they must be removed on or before January 6th (no lights are allowed).
