The annual open day, held on Good Friday, is a unique opportunity to see the horses in the training establishments throughout the Lambourn Valley.
The Peter O’Sullevan 2023 Lambourn Open Day will be held on Good Friday, April 7th, 2023.
The silent auction and raffle are live on the Open Day Website where you will find a wealth of information about the Open Day.
TIMINGS for 2023
Car Parks open from 8.00am
STABLES OPEN FROM 9.00am-13.00pm
Trade Stands open from 10.30am
Afternoon Events from 13.00pm to approximately 4.30pm
ENTRY TICKETS are available on the day at all car parks and yards.
More than 25 trainers open their yards to the public and more than 10,000 people are expected to take the opportunity to meet the horses, the trainers and to really see first hand the Lambourn racing industry.
Many yards have special exhibits and some demonstrations including horses using hydrotherapy pools.
In the afternoon a whole range of equine related entertainment and trade stands open to entertain the crowds. The funds raised at the open day are donated to racing related charities.
