Christmas Day 2019 – a clear sky and sunshine

As the rain clouds cleared, the Valley of the Racehorse basked in sunshine on Christmas Day 2019. The temperature was a relatively warm 6 degrees which is a far cry from the harsh winters of years gone by when snow lay and even blocked roads. The dry warm weather made for a lovely day to walk off the Christmas Dinner in the afternoon before settling in for an evening with family and friends.

We are truly lucky to live in such a wonderful part of England.
