Lambourn Library Closed

21 March 2020

From Paul James, Head of Culture and Libraries in West Berkshire:

All West Berkshire libraries are now closed to the public until further notice, due to government guidelines.

We will continue to provide support and services to our communities throughout this situation. Please don’t forget that we offer a variety of digital resources and e-library access, 24/7, and you can find details about these on our website: www.westberks.gov.uk/elibrary.

Current library members can access these resources for FREE and we are looking into how this can be extended to those who are not already library members.

Please don’t worry about returning your library books to us while we are closed. There will be no fines on items due for return between 20 March and 31 May, when we will review the situation. If you have an item which was already overdue for return, there will be no further charges after 20 March.

Our reservation service has been suspended until further notice for printed items, although you will still be able to reserve e-books and e-audiobooks as usual.

Thank you for your understanding.
