Free Monthly Books for Every Under Five Launched in Lambourn

The Lambourn Junction Community Interest Company is pleased to announce the successful launch of a Lambourn programme for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, made possible through generous support from the Lambourn Church of England School House Trust.

Families in the parish can now register children under five to receive a free, high quality, age appropriate book delivered to their home each month. Each book is personally addressed to the child and continues until their fifth birthday, helping to build early language skills and a lasting love of reading.

The programme is supported locally by Helen Hastle, UK Regional Director, acting as Volunteer Coordinator, working alongside Hayley Warrick, Lambourn Valley Community Organiser, to reach as many families as possible.

This initiative reflects a shared commitment across Lambourn to give every child the very best start in life, one book at a time.
