The Hinds Head Public House

The Hinds Head was located on the High Street, Lambourn and ceased trading many years ago.

The Hinds Head was put up for auction on the 10th March 1837 as part of the sale of the Hungerford brewery belonging to Mr Barnes. He owned the brewery as well as 19 public houses in the area including the Hinds Head and the Sawyers Arms in Lambourn.

The last mention of the Hinds Head was in August 1939 when it was used as the dressing room for the Lambourn Football Club.
