Lambourn Pharmacy Update
Thank you to all for your continued support and understanding during the emergency. The team have received some lovely comments which are much appreciated.
We continue to be exceedingly busy so please allow as much time as possible between ordering a prescription and collecting from us.
Please observe social distancing when visiting the pharmacy. Do not enter if you have any symptoms which suggest Covid 19: Shortness of breath, new dry cough or fever. We are following the latest guidelines from the NHS regarding how to run the pharmacy as safely as possible.
We are continuing to be closed between midday and 2pm to allow us to catch up with work backlog, carry out additional cleaning, deliver medication and take a break.
Supplies of some medication are difficult to obtain but we expect this situation to be temporary. Please be patient the supply chain is very stretched, in the meantime we may need to limit some supplies.
If you are self isolating and do not have anyone who can collect medication we can deliver within a mile radius. Our delivery days are Tuesday and Thursday. We will call you when we arrive at your home and place the medication on the doorstep, then from a safe distance we observe you collect the package.
Should you need to purchase paracetamol we have supplies if needed.
Finally remember we are at work for you, if at all possible stay home for us.
Graham Jones and the Lambourn Pharmacy Team
Editor’s Note: If you cannot collect your prescription because you are self isolating you can also call the Lambourn Voluteer helpline on 01488 505050 and a volunteer will collect the prescription for you.
