Lambourn Carnival Queen 1935

It is customary to proclaim a Carnival Queen who will join the carnival procession in a place of honour either on a float or in a carriage for all to see and cheer.

In 1935 Daisy Wall was proclaimed ‘Lambourn Carnival Queen’. The first photo shows from L-R: Phylis Blakely, Molly Richardson, Daisy Wall, Elsie Soanes and Betty Austen.
