Community Litter Pick – Saturday 10am
After the successful litter picking action earlier this year there will be another Community Litter Pick this Saturday 5th June (and Sunday) starting at 10am at the old Cricket Field. Everyone welcome!
We will start by clearing the lower half of the woods which are enjoyed by many however are also full of litter. As time and resources permit we will move on to other areas. West Berkshire Council have kindly supported the event once again and will dispose of the sacks of litter we collect.
Please do come along and bring / wear:
- strong shoes or boots
- tough gloves (we have a limited number if you do not have any)
- a water bottle / snack
- a hi viz waistcoat (if you have one) we have 20 to go around
- Litter grabber if you have one – we have some.
We will provide sacks etc.
A short health and Safety briefing will be provided for volunteers at the start of the session. COVID-19 regulations will be followed. Children must be accompanied by a parent / adult at all times.
