Lambourn Tom’s Big Bike Ride 2025 – Cycling All 60 UK Racecourses for Charity

Tom Dunlop from Lambourn is embarking on an epic solo cycling journey during his gap year—from 27 July to 28 August 2025—covering around 2,600 miles and visiting all 60 racecourses across Great Britain. Starting at Newton Abbot, he’ll travel as far north as Perth, then swing through Wales, finishing at Newbury.
He’s supporting two charities:
- Injured Jockeys Fund – offering medical and financial aid to injured jockeys.
- Diverse Abilities (The Beehive, Dorset) – providing activities and therapy for adults with profound disabilities; Tom’s fundraising will contribute to building a much-needed hydrotherapy pool. givewheel.com
Tom plans to self-navigate quieter roads, is live-tracked, and welcomes anyone to join segments of his ride. Funds are being raised via GiveWheel, with a target of £60,000—so far donations have reached over £6,200 (plus Gift Aid)
