Here is a photo from the early to mid 60s, showing a large group of Lambourn people about to board a coach in the square. A raked back rear window of a Ford Anglia in the background gives the age away a bit. For those of you who may remember some of these in the photo, it will also give you something to study. Mr Jack Wing is at the back at the left, while Mr and Mrs Warren are front left. I had the names of many of them at one time, but it has gone missing for some unknown reason. I believe that this is a Silver Circle outing and it may have been going up to RAF Welford, but I’ve no definite proof of it. I hope this gives many of you a chance to find those who you recognise. I will try and find the list of names though.
