Remembrance Day 2013
A beautiful sunny morning greeted everyone who gathered at the War Memorial for Remembrance Day Service and were joined by members of 42 Engineer Regiment (GEO) from Hermitage led by Lt Grant Robinson.
The service was conducted by Revd. Martin Cawte and Gareth Coulson played the Last Post and Reveille. Lt Col Jon Fleming gave the Exhortation and Kohima Prayer.
Lambourn RBL Standard was carried by John North and Nicola McGuiness carried the Standard for The Royal Navy Association (Newbury)
John North, who is fondly respected, once again took the Lambourn Standard to the Royal Albert Hall on the Saturday for the Annual Service of Remembrance.

After the service in the Church everyone was invited to the Royal British Legion for a splendid buffet lunch.
