Jack Nobes and Eve Millidge from Shrivenham and who always support our functions, won the match and top prize. Johnny Worrall and Matty Wonnacott were runners-Up. Jack and Eve had the Highest Score in any one game they are shown with the Mick Haydon Pairs Trophy, or Shield.
All in all, in spite of it turning wet, everyone enjoyed their time at Lambourn Bowls Club. Huge thanks to Claire. Eileen and Sue for their great work in the refreshment ‘building’ and to Steve and Heather Fox for the BBQ and many other jobs! Thanks also go to the donations of food and of course, the raffle prizes. Anna Bradford won the ‘Spider Prize’. Well done everybody. Mention must be said that all the winners donated their winnings to the cause. Magnificent indeed!
