Lambourn Lunch Club receives a £1000 boost
Berkshire, UK 10 December 2022 – The Lambourn Junction Community Interest Company has received a £1000 grant from Berkshire Community Foundation in its latest round of funding.
The money will go towards funding the Lambourn Lunch Club (formerly Lambourn Warm Welcome) which provides a warm and welcoming place with a free of charge lunch once per week for those who are challenged by the current cost of living crisis. The Lunch Club also delivers lunches to those who cannot attend the lunches in person.
Helen Noll, Organiser of the Lambourn Lunch Club, said: “The generous grant from Berkshire Community Foundation will allow us to provide hundreds of hot and nutritious meals free of charge to those who need a helping hand at this difficult time.”
