Lambourn Junction in the Spotlight on 4LEGS Radio

Listeners to 4LEGS Radio enjoyed a warm and engaging broadcast today as Penny Locke and Brian Quinn sat down with Christian Noll to talk about the many ways Lambourn Junction continues to support the community. Known affectionately as the Junction, this grassroots organisation is now a vital part of village life.

The programme offered an update on the Junction’s wide ranging activities, from the food bank that provides essential help for local families, to the environmental group encouraging sustainable living in the valley. Penny, Brian and Christian also discussed the Youth Junction, the village’s only youth club, as well as the new Youth Council which gives young people a real voice in shaping local projects. The Friendship Café was highlighted as another much loved gathering, providing companionship and support.

A special feature of the show was an interview with Adrian Watson who shared the story of the Lambourn Shed. Adrian explained how the Shed was founded and spoke about the many projects it now runs, from bread making classes to building the new white gates to the village, all designed to build friendships, skills and well-being in the Lambourn Valley.
