Wow these are terrific. My father Patrick Puffett was born in Lambourn. He is actually one of those children blacked up in the photo above!!! How wonderful it is to see it on here. I have a copy of that somewhere.
We visited many many times over the years. My Grandmother and Aunt lived in The Granthams for a lot of years. We were actually in one of the Carnivals but I can’t remember when, it would have been in the 1960s some time. Our float was called “A Day At The Seaside”. I’d love to see any photos anyone may have of that.
