This week is the last week the food bank will be operating in Lambourn, although deliveries WILL be coming from Newbury.
We have decided it would be a lovely idea to operate something similar to help those that need it, however to make this work I need all of your help!
We don’t want donations just of food, but also boredom busters (DVDs, jigsaws, crossword puzzle, books, playing cards etc.) As shopping isn’t as easy as it was, we would also gladly accept donations of nappies, baby/toddler/children’s clothes that we can hand out to those who need it. All we ask is that when finished with an item then let us know so we can collect it and swap it for another DVD, jigsaw etc. Any clothes, nappies, food, drink, toiletries etc will be yours to keep.
I will wash any clothes and ensure that I sanitize to the best of my ability.
The elderly are so important in our society. They fought for our freedom; now it’s our turn to help them.
