Co-op supports Lambourn Food Bank
The Lambourn co-op, part of southern co-op, is supporting the Lambourn Food Bank by encouraging donations of food and groceries in their store in Lambourn High Street. All the donations go straight to the Lambourn Food Bank where they are distributed to those in our community who need a helping hand. A big THANK YOU to the co-op and all the kind donors who are leaving donations in the basket – you are changing lives.
The Lambourn Junction Food Bank is a community led initiative to support those in need with food and essential supplies. It is supported by the community with volunteers and donations, as a drop-in, needs led food hub, offering food, household items and toiletries.
The Food Bank is operated by The Lambourn Junction Community Interest Company, a not-for-profit community initiative. Food poverty is a real issue and is particularly evident in rural environments. The Lambourn Junction Food Bank has a team of volunteers who ensure the distribution of the groceries to those most in need.
We do not means test, we do not judge, we simply distribute food and toiletries to those who need a helping hand.
